Simi Sara, Executive Chef Robert Clarke of C Restaurant, and Basil Koutalianos of Basil Olive Oil Products Ltd. appeared on CityTV's “CityCooks” Show in January 2004. The segment featured an olive oil tasting and a cooking demonstration.
Basil Olive Oil Products Ltd. took part in Feast of Fields, September 2003 which was presented by FarmFolk/CityFolk.
The pick of this 2003’s bounty was be delivered to historic Westham Island Herb Farm by regional producers. The farms was transformed into an acres-long gourmet buffet by more than 50 B.C. chefs, bakers, winemakers, brewers and food artisans...
Provence Marinaside Exec Chef Jean-Francis Quaglia; Salmonhouse on the Hill, Exec Chef Dan Atkinson; The Blue Water, Exec Chef James Walt; featured our Golden Olive 'Eleni' during the Feast of Fields. It was an opportunity for people to sample our oil and the beautiful food these talented Chef's prepared.

Basil
Olive Oil Products Ltd. was a Bocuse D'Or Sponsor at the June 2002 Canadian
Federation of Chefs and Cooks Qualifier Competitions for the Bocuse d'or
Canadian Representative. The Winner was Mr. Morgan Wilson who will compete
in Jan 2005 in Lyon, France.
The Culinary Olympics of Gourmet Cooking finals were held in Vancouver June 11 2002 and the finalist represented Canada in Lyon, France Jan 24-30 2003. This is aWorld Class Event and there was much excitement over the contest being held in Vancouver.
The Bocuse d'Or is one of the premier international cooking competitions presently held anywhere in the world. It is organized under the stewardship of famed French chef Paul Bocuse every two years in Lyon, France - two days of intense competition from which emerges the winner of the Gold Bocuse Trophy.
"What makes the Bocuse d'Or magic is the opportunity to review all the gastronomic cultures of the world in just two days. It opens new horizons, reveals techniques as you watch, and all the tricks, the subtle recipes ad the dedication of those who compose them.
