Local olive oil producer Helen Koutalianos has added a silver medal to the long list of accolades her Golden Olive "Eleni" oil as received since hitting the market several years ago. Koutalianos took a silver medal for flavour at the Los Angeles County Fair olive oil competition last month where 176 oils from 113 producers were entered in various categories.
